True Health NC Treatment Approach

Dr. Morgan’s primary focus is simple: get your body to work really well. He accomplishes this by unraveling injuries and restrictions in the myofascial system, balancing body chemistry, addressing lifestyle and movement habits, and ultimately finding the root cause(s) of each individual’s problem(s).

At True Health NC, this broad, whole-person approach helps patients with various problems, including chronic pain, inflammation, fatigue, digestive matters, hormonal problems, and immune issues. Applied kinesiology techniques effectively target and resolve these health concerns. Dr. Morgan evaluates and treats the complex connections of all bodily systems. His approach does not treat by masking the ailment; rather, it is a careful examination of the whole person and skillful treatment of that individual.

Personal Life

Dr. Morgan grew up in West Virginia. He attended Pikeville College in Kentucky and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Sherman College in South Carolina. His great-uncle first exposed him to natural healthcare. While not a doctor, his uncle knew how to care for his body; he ate the food that he grew, exercised, and used supplements and home remedies for any problems he encountered. He worked in his general store and garden daily until he passed away at 95. Dr. Morgan identifies this as true health: doing all the things necessary to live a full, healthy life.

Additionally, Dr. Morgan is married to Robyn, and they live with their three beautiful daughters, cats, and dogs. They love spending quality time outdoors: hiking, practicing natural movement, and playing are vital aspects of their family life. They enjoy family trips to the beach, mountains, and forests.

True Health NC Processes:

  • Applied Kinesiology – Uses muscle testing as a window into the nervous system, controlling and coordinating the body functions. Determines structural, chemical, and mental/emotional challenges.
  • Supplements – Vitamins, minerals, and herbal tinctures to aid the body in finding balance.
  • Nutritional and Lifestyle coaching – Recommendations to help the body heal and return to full function. This may include foods to eat/avoid, sleep habits, and movement and exercise changes.
  • Movement Therapy – Coaching on specific ways to rediscover the way your body is meant to move.
  • Nutritional Biochemistry – Discovery of the nutrients needed for important chemicals that the body isn’t producing on its own.
  • Hormonal Balancing – Using foods, supplements, and exercise to produce enough hormones to positively impact mood, appetite, and overall health.
  • Myofascial Reconfiguration – Reduce knots of buildup in a muscle. This is very important to let the nervous system relax to avoid the body always being in a state of “overdrive.”
  • Acupressure – Used to tone down pain pathways that are conditioned to over-fire.
  • Cranio Sacral Therapy – The bones of the skull move in a very subtle way, which affects the cerebral spinal fluid in your spinal cord and brain.
