Inflammation and Joint Pain

Inflammation is the Body’s Response to an Injury, Infection, or Other Abnormality on a Cellular Level.

When inflammation becomes systemic, chronic, or out of control, health problems develop. Inflammation and joint pain are directly related, as poor joint movement causes inflammation. However, the opposite is also true: inflammation can be the underlying cause of joint problems. Dr. Morgan can develop a comprehensive plan to address either scenario: joint pain being caused by inflammation, or inflammation being caused by poor joint movements.

Inflammation is often involved in every major disease.

In fact, you may not even realize that you are experiencing inflammation! Below is a list of some common issues that are a direct result of inflammation.

  • Joint pain
  • Arthritis and bursitis
  • Headaches
  • Muscle pain (not due to exercise or injury)
  • Heart disease
  • Cancer
  • Swelling of the feet that never goes away, and/or extremities when exercising
  • Digestive issues
  • Immune system that isn’t responding properly

If you experience any of the above symptoms/issues, you may be dealing with inflammation! Dr. Morgan can help you discover the root cause of your symptoms, whether they are related to inflammation or not.
